To overcome panic attacks is no easy task, I`ve tried a lot of different approaches over the years.
Some of the things i`ve tried worked in some way, but I always feel that I am falling back to scratch after a while.

Several herbal remedies have been studied as a treatment for anxiety, including kava, passion flower, valerian and theanine.
The most popular herbal treatment for anxiety is kava. Numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of kava in reducing anxiety, with effects observed after as few as one to two doses. However, there is concern that kava may be harmful to the liver.
Multiple cases of liver damage — including hepatitis, cirrhosis and liver failure — associated with kava use have been reported in Europe. As a result, several countries have banned the sale of kava due to safety concerns. The Food and Drug Administration has issued warnings about kava but hasn't banned the sale of kava in the United States.
Some evidence suggests that passion flower, valerian and theanine also may reduce anxiety and are generally considered to be safe herbs, with few reported adverse side effects. However, more research is needed to fully evaluate the effectiveness and safety of these herbal supplements for such use.
If you are considering a trial of a dietary or herbal supplement as a treatment for mild anxiety, talk to your doctor first. Also, if your anxiety is interfering with daily activities, consider working with a mental health specialist as well.

anxiety and panic attacks

My anxiety has many faces and forms, but the one I feel has limited me the most, is my social anxiety

I had serious problems for many years with
social anxiety.
I tried different medicaments and so called treatments, but none of them worked the way I hoped it would.

I never thought that I could find a cure for my social anxiety disorder, never really gave it any thought.
"This is something I have to live with, this is how I am" was kind of my slogan.

I went to a doctor, got subcription for pills, I had sceduled appointments with a social worker, to talk about my problems. I got reccomendation to go to a shrink, that was the point that i realized that I really had to do something.The need to work with myself was obvious.
I need to find a cure for social anxiety disorder, if it`s possible.

My way of doing it may not be the right way for everybody, as people are different.
But it would be worth a try, because if it works for you your life quality will change dramatically.

Especially with the medical treatments: I found out that eating pills is not gonna be any magic cure. If you take pills you will have to do something active to ease or get rid of the problems.
Your mind is your most powerfull tool!
